The contents of this course will cover Federal, Provincial, Labor Standards and CSA Standards. You will learn the actual use of a lift truck.
This course consists of both classroom instruction with discussion portion and a hands-on portion. Each operator will be required to demonstrate his or her knowledge and skills while operating a motorized lift truck.
Topics covered are pre-operation checks, propane, gas refueling and battery care, operating a lift truck safely. Forks, mast, loading and unloading as well as stacking, ramps, inclines, dock safety, parking.
