Examinations
The assessments is broken down into two exams:
Unit EMC1: Environmental Management
Students will be required to review a real-life scenario and answer theoretical and practical questions on environmental management. This examination is be downloaded, completed, and submitted in 24 hours.
Unit EMC2: Assessing Environmental Aspects And Associated Impacts
This is a practical exam. Students need to assess environmental aspects and impacts in their chosen workplace.
International Certificate
All results for assessments should be received within 50 working days from the date of the examination or submission of the practical assessment.
Once a learner has achieved a Pass in both units and the qualification grade has been declared, a qualification parchment will be issued, usually within 40 working days of the result declaration date
Course Pre-requisites
There are no pre-requisite requirements for this qualification. No prior knowledge of environmental management is needed.
For non-native speakers it is important to have a suitable standard of the English language in order to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.
