NLP was developed in California in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, and based on the work of hypnotherapist Milton Erickson, Gestalt therapist Fritz Perls, and family therapist Virginia Satir. It was the first model of therapy to focus on positive change and moving forward, rather than looking back at the past and where problems had stemmed from. NLP is widely used to achieve self-development in personal life, and success in business.

Who I am…
Amongst other things, I’m a Transformational Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, Mindset Coach, Happiness Mentor & Amazon UK best-selling author. I have 25 years experience as a Counsellor and over 17 years as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, NLP Practitioner, EFT Therapist & Life Coach and was the first person worldwide to qualify as an RTT Practitioner in 2016.
I’m also a woman who once would have answered ‘Yes’ to all of the questions above. A woman who knows what it feels like to have had her world turned upside down and experience feelings of great loss, self-doubt, sadness and fears about the future – and then move forward to discover the inner strength and resilience to rebuild her life.
While recovering from my challenging personal experiences, I felt drawn towards the study of Psychology, Philosophy & Spirituality which then led me towards training as a Person-Centred Counsellor. I highly value the self-awareness & self-growth that I gained during my three-year counselling course, as well as learning the importance of developing the core values of authenticity, clarity, integrity and empathy, which were necessary to help my clients develop their own self-awareness & growth.
Learning about the amazing power of the mind – both the conscious and the subconscious – and developing the practice of meditation, was absolutely life transforming, as was the wisdom I gained through studying the teachings of many of the greatest philosophers & spiritual masters from the East & the West.

It’s a fact that no baby is born doubting themselves, feeling anxious or with any phobias or destructive habits. We are all affected to some degree by our early experiences, which very often lead us to develop untrue negative beliefs about ourselves and our worth.
Rather than just working on the surface issues, I help you to get to the root of any subconscious beliefs and blocks that have been holding you back so far.
