You must have a genuine desire and aptitude to enter nursing. Universities will expect you to have gained experience working in a healthcare setting and require a DBS check. We strongly advise you to have experience by the time you begin your course.
With the reinstatement of the additional financial support through the University Nursing/Midwifery bursaries, there has never been a better time to start your journey to becoming a qualified nurse/midwife.

Entry Requirements
Requirements:
You must be aged 19 plus
Proficiency in written and spoken English
GCSEs - grades A* - C / 9-4 or Functional Skills Level 2 or recognised non-UK GCSE equivalencies in English and maths preferred; however, each applicant will be considered on an individual basis
Selection by interview, initial screening, literacy and numeracy tests
