Musical Theatre is a combination of singing, dancing and acting. This is a Performance based class that gives our students a great chance to express themselves through the amazing music the Musical Theatre world has to offer.
Over 5 weeks, we will explore the exciting and diverse world of musical theatre dance while performing to some of your favourite musical numbers.
Think Chicago, Cats and Grease. Theatre Dance is a class of learning dance techniques and routine all combined to provide an experience worthy of a stage performance.
The CUA50213 Diploma of Musical Theatre course is an intensive one-year training program for students who have the potential to achieve excellent standards in the three core disciplines of singing, acting and dancing.
We offer a bi-annual musical theatre production opportunity to students enrolled in at least one dance class and that are a minimum of 8 years of age. An audition is held early in term 1 to select parts for the annual production. Our next production will be in 2021.
