With age, comes experience and we have that in abound here at MKPA. Our trainers are all experts in their field who deliver high quality and competitively priced accredited training. Many have worked with us for a number of years. We love working with them and watching the training develop year on year.
Training is carried out at our site in the heart of Milton Keynes. We can also run our courses externally at your own site in Beds, Bucks, Northants and Oxfordshire.We offer accredited courses including Paediatric First Aid, First Aid for Schools, First Aid at Work and, Emergency First Aid at Work. We also offer regular Safeguarding for Designed Leads courses and we can run Basic Safeguarding courses externally at your site.

As the infrastructure of the new town of Milton Keynes was being developed it became clear that the new housing estates being developed had limited facilities for children’s play. Our founders were a group of determined parents from an estate who came together to organise play activities for their own children and others. This initiative grew and eventually became Milton Keynes Play Association.
50 years on, MKPA has grown and evolved into a charity which continues to provide play to children in the area along with hire of play equipment, a scrap store, craft shop, training for teachers, carers and parents. We work with partners who share our values and are committed to providing high-quality play opportunities to children and families across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.
The one-day course is a minimum of 6 contact hours, and will be delivered at the Cranford Avenue College site, with free parking available and refreshments and lunch provided. The Emergency First Aid at Work Training Course will teach you how to help someone who hurts themselves or falls ill in an emergency.
Due to the success and demand of our 2023 training courses, we will this year be offering an expanded training programme for BID Member businesses.
This course aims to provide you with the knowledge you need to understand the key areas of first aid. The course will enable you to increase the safety of yourself and others in the workplace and in other everyday environments.
