We run small friendly classes for all abilities where you can learn patchwork & quilting, dressmaking, bag making and general craft sewing, including small home furnishings.
We also run classes in how to use your sewing machine, how to use your overlocker and how to use rotary cutting equipment to achieve accurate fabric shapes.
This course is ideal for developing your sewing skills. It will cover all aspects of garment making from selecting a pattern to the finishing touches. These skills may help you towards a career in the field of fashion.

If you are stuck on the sewing project or you need some 1-to-1 tuition in a specific area to help improve your skills you can choose an individual class (suitable for 1 or 2 people) and help to build your confidence.
The 'Learn to Sew' Classes / Workshops are Fun and Informal and a great way to make new friends. They are designed to help you learn the basic techniques to get going on your sewing journey. I will guide you so that you actually understand the sewing machine and sew your own samples.
You’ll learn how to use a pattern block, sew double point darts, insert sleeves or add a sleeve facing, add a neck facing, put in an invisible zip and finish hems perfectly. What’s more you’ll get a truly professional finish while learning to use one of our Janome overlockers.
