Personal Protective Equipment

Personal Protective Equipment course is offered by British Safety Council. A short, tailored course allows you to build a one or two-day course that meets your business needs. You choose what you need and we deliver. We keep people as safe and healthy as possible in their work through education and practical guidance.

• Identify the main types of PPE for various parts of the body, and the hazards they offer protection against
• Understand what factors must be considered when assessing PPE requirements
• Understand the importance of ergonomic considerations when selecting PPE
• Understand why information, instruction and training in the use, maintenance and storage of PPE is critical to employee safety
• Identify the limitations of PPE.
