Our piano lessons are tailored to suit the individual, whether they would like to become a concert pianist or simply play for leisure. All ages and levels are welcome, from complete beginners to advanced students.
Doncaster Music Centre, formerly Ian Steeds School of Music, was established in 1982 and has been one of the most notable music schools in the Eastern suburbs for the past few decades.
Situated in Doncaster East, Doncaster Music Centre has been offering the community professional music lessons specialising in Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Singing, Violin and Drums.
We cater to the local community, with students from areas such as Doncaster, Doncaster East, Blackburn, Donvale, Templestowe, Box Hill and Bulleen. All our lessons are held in our school in Jackson Court, Doncaster East.

Students will be taught scale and chords, correct finger placement as well as learning a different variety of music pieces. Students must have a piano at home.
After your first two lessons on piano, you can expect to be able to play two songs, such as “In the Jungle” or “Stay With Me” for adults and teens, or “Old MacDonald” or “Pirates of the Caribbean” for children.
Individual and group piano lessons are both available at Learning Through studios, as well as schools around Adelaide, South Australia.
We teach all styles of piano and keyboards from Medieval, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern styles including Pop, Rock and Jazz.
At The Music Gym, we break down the complexity of playing the Piano and present it in simple terms that even the most inexperienced can understand. Our Piano Sessions cover everything from the basics of hand position and good posture through to playing melodies and complete songs.
