Our piano teachers teach a variety of styles from classical to popular music and everything in between. Whatever your favorite style of music, our teachers are happy to help you become the pianist you want to be.

Using award-winning methods, beginner students will learn how to navigate their way around the keyboard while learning proper technique, note reading, rhythm, dynamics and expression, music theory, and so much more. Since 2005, Gold Coast Arts Academy has been teaching students of all levels how to play a musical instrument. Having teachers that love music and sharing their knowledge with their students is why we have families returning term after term.

We currently specialise in piano and woodwind in our studio at Yunga Ct, Broadbeach Waters. After spending over a decade at rented premises in Bundall, covid-19 led to us making the hard decision to relocate.

This has proven to be the best thing for the long term viabilty of the business and it has been welcomed by teachers and students alike. We currently have two piano studios and a woodwind studio and are open from 3 pm to 7pm Monday to Thursday, and from 8.30am to 3pm on Saturday.

Teacher's Experience
Hideko started her piano journey at the age of 7 and was taught in both Japan and Australia. She was trained by one of the best music teachers in Australia. Her music experiences include a performance in the Art Gallery at the Gold Coast Arts Centre (now HOTA); Piano Accompanist for School Choirs including Benowa Primary School Intermediate Choir, and Performances at aged care facilities. Hideko has taught since 2013 and has been successful with her philosophy to provide her students with the “Joy of Music” as well as to earn high achievements in classical and modern piano exams and performances. Hideko would like to pass her love of piano on to as many people as possible.
