I have been sewing for as long as I can remember, creating little projects as a child to sewing quilts, handbags and clothing as I got older.
There is something about finding a fantastic piece of fabric and making it into something unique that you can call your own.
We offer a range of classes, from multi-week beginner classes to half day workshops. Be sure to check the Classes & Events page for schedule and availability.
This course is for kids aged 8-15 who know the basics of sewing. We will go over the basics on the first day, but it is highly recommended that they already have some sewing knowledge.
Learning to quilt – Everything is provided including Fabric and the use of our tools. Walk away with a really nice Lap quilt . Lunch & snacks provided. This class works around your schedule as it takes time to make a quilt . Average’s three classes
Made By Me Sewing Studio offers a variety of adult classes suitable for every skill level. If you have never sewn before, a private lesson or beginner workshop will get you started.
Overcome your free-motion fears and build confidence in your machine quilting. Set yourself free from straight-line quilting. Learn to perfect your concentrated background fillers such as stippling, meandering, …. and more! All work will be done with your darning or free motion foot.
