This course will inform you of the responsibility of firearms safety, maintenance of firearms, proper mental conditioning, use of deadly force, marksmanship and judgmental shooting situations.

You will be required to display knowledge and proficiency of deadly force issues by passing a written test. You will also be required
to display shooting proficiency by firing a minimum of ten rounds (5 at 5 yards and 5 at 10 yards) for qualification.

Course Cost:
$80.00 (This covers the course and Fingerprinting) (You will need to bring a Money Order or Cash with you to the class).
In addition, you will need to submit a completed application, a fingerprint card (supplied by your instructor), and a Certificate signed by the instructor showing completion of the class along with a $60.00 processing fee to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Requirements:
Arizona Resident or U.S. Citizen (Over the age of 21) legally allowed to carry a firearm and a valid ID.
Rick is an NRA Certified Instructor and an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer.
He has also successfully completed training in Patrol Rifle Concepts involving marksmanship, manipulation and deployment of the Police Patrol Rifle.
Chuck is an NRA Certified Instructor. He has successfully completed training in Patrol Rifle Concepts and several other Firearms Training Courses.

The Basic Pistol course with Best Handgun Training is approximately a 6 to 8 hour course. You will learn the Basics of Pistol Shooting  and receive an extensive lesson in safety, gun handling, the various types of pistols.
