Poms is a group dance genre that is typically performed during sporting events. Poms choreography is fun, sharp, and rhythmic, incorporating themes from hip hop, jazz, and lyrical. Students will participate in an aerobic warm-up, focusing on strength, isolations, and flexibility.

They will work on traveling exercises across the floor, build combinations, and will learn level appropriate turns and jumps. Poms students are encouraged to attend at least one hip hop, lyrical, or jazz class per week.
All dancers should wear black leggings or sweatpants, solid color t-shirt or tank top (no writing or patterns), black split-sole jazz sneakers.
Beginners learn from highly trained professionals in a comfortable and kind setting. Experienced dancers are challenged to strengthen their skills and continue to grow and learn in an inclusive environment.
Choreography II offers a place to challenge the skills individuals learned from Choreography I by introducing more complex techniques, greater practice in fundamentals, and more choreography.

This is an open level Hip Hop class with a focus on learning choreography. Victor focuses on grooves and intricate musicality when he teaches. He tries to keep things new, interesting, and fun regardless if it’s a slow or an upbeat piece
