This course consists of five key areas of learning and proficiency demonstration. We are going to talk about Terminology and Applications, Responsibility, Safety, Operation and finish with Hands-On.
In this course, we will discuss the importance of safe operation and responsibilities of a professional Forklift Operator, and the skills and techniques that can be used to ensure safe operation and incident prevention.
The curriculum includes safe operation, inspection, basic components, refueling, battery care, and different types of Power Industrial Trucks. Class includes videos, lectures, facilitated student discussion, demonstrations, skill testing, and written testing in accordance with OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910. 178.
