This workshop is designed for people who would like to develop confidence and/or skills in speaking in public situations. It is entirely skills focused and participants will have the opportunity to make a brief presentation (putting what you have learned into practice) and receive feedback in a constructive and safe environment. It is delivered by Helen Evans, Open University.

Using the most up to date specialist techniques, learn how to develop your public speaking skills, your presentation skills and a personal style which is right for you. The confidence gained and these presentation skills are transferable to other areas of your business and personal life.
This intensive Sunday afternoon course will help you to learn techniques and develop skills which will boost your confidence for all types of situations when you have to say a few words in public. This course will be delivered in the college.

Develop your skills to communicate with clarity and confidence in meetings, presentations, training and a range of other work-related settings. Drawing on assertive techniques, consider personal fears and challenges, pick up tips to improve your delivery and develop a style that works for you.
