Objectives
To gain the skills, knowledge and confidence required to design and deliver a presentation to an audience.
Who should attend?
The course is suitable for any individual with limited experience who would like to develop their skills and confidence in both the design and delivery of presentations.
Course content
The course is designed to help develop presentation skills by introducing hints and tips. Delegates will be expected to bring a pre-prepared presentation of no more than 5 minutes which will be deliver to the rest of the group and receive constructive feedback.
Delegates will then be given time to make alterations to their presentations using the new skills acquired.
Outcomes
By the end of the course, delegates should be able to design and deliver a professional presentation and develop their own technique and style.
Delegate preparation
Delegates should bring a suitable laptop if possible with PowerPoint 2013 installed, together with a 5 minute pre-prepared presentation on a subject of their choice.
