Our industry-experienced trainers deliver hands-on workshops which present real-life scenarios, demonstrations and simulations. Learners can then practice what they’ve learned while still receiving clear guidance, feedback and support.
The qualification expires in three years and also requires the CPR component to be updated within 12 months to ensure the certification is current.
Delivery and assessment
Pre-workshop learning activities are completed via our immersive online learning portal through interactive eLearning modules, videos and quizzes. Once you finish your pre-workshop learning activities you can commence the hands-on workshop!
After the pre-work you will attend a hands-on workshop which presents real-life scenarios, demonstrations and simulations. Learners can then practice what they’ve learned while still receiving clear guidance, feedback and support.
The CPR component will need to be completed on the floor using adult, child and infant manikins, in accordance with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines
Approximate timeframes:
Pre-workshop learning activities: 2 – 4 hours
Face-to-face practical workshop: 7.5 hours

The idea of the workshop is to present first aid scenarios in a safe and secure but fun way to ensure that each learner has the best outcome. For full day workshops, we have a morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea break so that everyone stays fresh and focused!
Units of competency:
Once you have attended the workshop and satisfactorily met all assessment requirements, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following units of competency:

HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Provide First Aid course is offered by Hope Training College of Australia. Hope Training College is delivering quality training since 2014. First few years, we worked under a partnership arrangement with another RTO.
