For the Love of Movement was founded in 2019 with the goal of providing space where you can learn to dance for fun, exercise and competitive. The founder Dominic’s dream is to create a Fun fit environment for any age group, encouraging good heath through movement.
Dominic’s Dance career started in early 2003 at “The Studio”. Danced for two years socially in the IDTA international syllabus. Started competing in 2005 scouted by Dave Campbell. Won Gauteng and South-African Dance Championships in 2005 and 2006. 2008 was placed 2nd in the South-African Dance Championships in Latin and Ballroom at championship level.
Dominic began teaching as early as 2006. In 2008 he was teaching privately at a small studio at the Bryanston Country Club. He continued to run this small studio for over 10 years. During this he trained students in Latin and Ballroom, choreographed shows for the woman’s Golf club events. Preformed shows at various locations and trained world champion Line dancer.
With a total of 17year experience he would like to share his knowledge with others that would like to improve on their skills and to provide a happy feel to those who want to do dance for fun and relaxation. With an abundance of patience and the love for imparting knowledge it a perfect environment for beginner and for those who already have experience.
Wedding Dance Course is Offered by Jama Ballroom Dance Studio.
Wedding Dance Lessons are offered by The Dance Palace.
Latin Dance Lessons are offered by Fancy Feet Dance Studio for all ages and skills. Couples and solo latin available from 7 years up as well as wedding packages available.
