This R Programming course aims to give delegates the knowledge to use effective programming principles and to write code in R. R is a powerful statistical language.
However, all too often practitioners even with years of experience are restrained from leveraging this powerful tool for lack of programming knowledge and skills. This course is designed to address this critical need.
From a base with little or no prior programming experience, R Programming will build your knowledge of programming concepts and constructs and train you to implement solutions confidently in R.
Beginning with an introduction to the language and to RStudio, we cover most of R's data types and structures, conditional statements, loops and functions. Delegates also learn how to import and save data files, implement exceptions and error handling for robust code and, produce some common visualization charts.
Finally, there is a demonstrative example of how to carry out Linear regression and two univariate data hypothesis tests, a test for a hypothesized proportion and a mean.
From a single person on a scheduled course to large scale training projects StayAhead Training have the expertise and experience to help.
Established since 1992, StayAhead Training is recognised as one of the leading independent IT Training specialists in the UK and the first choice provider of UNIX, Linux, Oracle, Red Hat, Java, Web Development, MySQL, PHP, Perl, ITIL, and Business Analysis training for many of UK's largest organisations.
With 7 UK training centres located in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Sunderland, and Edinburgh, StayAhead offer a range of scheduled, tailored and onsite training. Courses are based on traditional classroom based Instructor Led Training, with Virtual Training also available.
This course is an introduction to using the R software and language, suitable for those who have never encountered R before. No previous statistical knowledge is assumed but participants should be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Excel.
This training program will let you learn how to use variables, matrix, functions and other models of R programming required for Data Science. At advance level, you learn to use R programming language in collaboration of Machine learning algorithm for Data Science.
R provides a wide variety of statistical (linear and nonlinear modelling, classical statistical tests, time-series analysis, classification, clustering etc.) and graphical techniques, and is highly extensible. It is available as free software.
Our R trainer has many years of experience and has written a number of books on R. This course is very hands-on. This means that there is plenty of time to experiment with what you are being taught, try things out for yourself and ask questions.
Data Science is an arena of reconstructing unstructured data to a structured model and confer it into knowledge.
