Course Details

This nationally accredited licence to perform basic rigging course is to provide the underpinning knowledge and skills to perform basic rigging safely. The basic rigging course has been designed for with any level of experience for rigging.

Riggers use mechanical load shifting equipment and associated gear to move, place or secure loads, including plant, equipment or members of a structure. Riggers ensure the stability of those members and set up and dismantle hoists.

 Basic Rigging Course is currently only run on demand so may require minimum numbers in order to be run.

The High Risk Licence Rigging (Basic) (RB) course has training and assessment that is competency based.

The duration of the Forklift course depends on the learners’ previous experience, access to a machine, and time availability. The forklift course can be completed as a full course, a logbook course, or as a previous experience course. Each type, of course, has a different length of course times that are determined by the learner and their experience.
