The Licence to Perform Basic Rigging Course is designed to provide participants with the ability to perform basic rigging work associated with movement of plant and equipment including structural steel erection.
This course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to plan, prepare & complete basic rigging work as prescribed by the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
This course will provide students with the skills and knowledge to perform rigging work at an advanced level, which includes all the outcomes for rigging work at the basic and intermediate levels, and also includes rigging of gin poles and shear legs, flying foxes and cable ways, guyed derricks
The above unit is nationally recognised and can only be delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that complies with governing standards of quality control and quality training and assessment
This unit specifies the outcomes required to perform basic rigging work associated with movement of plant and equipment, steel erections, hoists, placement of pre-cast concrete, safety nets and static lines, perimeter safety screens and shutters; and cantilever crane
