Since it was formed in 1999, Site Safe has been influential in creating a positive change in the health & safety culture of New Zealand’s construction industry. Our overarching goal is for the industry to be proud to be safe and to reduce injury and harm.

This course ensures you understand the relevant guidelines, regulations and Codes of Practice to safely assess and operate a MEWP. It also includes a series of practical exercises where you will apply and test your knowledge of hazards, risk management and operational skills.
Understand the roles and responsibilities of supervisors and managers in creating and managing a workplace Health and Safety. It will increase your knowledge of how to manage relevant processes, and how to communicate Health and Safety best practice effectively, to create a safe place to work.
OSH Insights was established by Andrew Nelson, to provide a more comprehensive occupational health and safety consulting service, aiding New Zealand businesses to better understand and manage their health and safety obligations and reduce the need for businesses to rely on multiple providers.
This initial training course is for Health and Safety Representatives. The content covers Unit Standard 29315 ‘Describe the role and functions of the Health and Safety Representative in a NZ workplace’.
If you drive a forklift on the road, you must have an F Endorsement on your driver licence. Note that the licence endorsement and the licence class systems work together. Your licence has to cover both the type of vehicle and its weight.
