When you sign up for a class you receive a detailed syllabus with supply list so you can purchase what is required before your first class. The teachers are available for questions and will make suggestions regarding the type of fabric and accessories to purchase for your project.
For classes that last a full day, you have access to the café at Club Tissus so you can eat lunch comfortably. (Saint-Hubert location)
In 1979, Mario Ouellette acquired the Pénélope store, which specialized in the sale of fabrics, it was located on Prince Street in Saint-Constant. In 1984, he tried the combination of selling sewing machines (White and Husqvarna) with the fabrics. Given the success, he moved to Saint-Pierre Street (small pink house) in Saint-Constant.
Basic Quilt Making course is offered by Penelope. Learn basic quilting designs and techniques from cutting to assembly. You will also learn how to make your bias tape and how to finish off your quilt.
This is a 3-month course. Intro to Sewing is all about learning the machine. Throughout these three months students will learn the functions of the sewing machine and most importantly how to use them properly.

This is an introduction to quilting class during which time you will learn about fabrics, threads, and notions needed to start a project. Also covered is cutting, pressing and finishing.
An easy fun design using 2 1/2 inch wide Batik fabric strips. Learn to work with a variety of colours. Also covered is mitered borders and machine quilting.
