Level 1
Gain valuable skills including all the fundamental sewing skills needed for most sewing projects. For the last one or two weeks you will have time to start a project of your choice.

Machine will be provided to use. You can bring your own machine to learn on if you would like to.
Bobbins and Buttons offer our own range of sewing patterns, a carefully selected range of the best quality dressmaking and crafting fabrics as well as Leicester based sewing classes.
This is the perfect course to start your sewing journey, over the course you gradually build up your skills, techniques and knowledge. We teach everything you need to know to be able to confidently sew basic projects and complete simple dressmaking.
The course consists of 5 units, each of which takes you through all the great functions step by step, building your knowledge of the software and guiding you through every stage, building your confidence to try new things.
Work on your own choice of project or on Carole's choice of project. Please book a seat to avoid disappointment.
This workshop is suitable for those who have used a sewing machine before, can confidently thread the machine and bobbin and have sewn several projects before. If you need a beginners class or a refresher then have a look at beginners classes available.
We can chat through how classes work and what projects you will sew. Once you are ready to start, we’ll check availability and book you in to your first machine sewing class! Classes run Wednesdays to Fridays with limited space on Saturdays.
