I live and work in Solihull and am married with two boys. I have an obsessive love of sewing, which has driven my career through a wide range of sewing related experiences. I came from a family of sewers and from a very early age was encouraged to be creative.
My love of embroidery and needlework led me to pursue a career in teaching. I attended a specialist needlework and home economics teacher training College in Liverpool.
I always enjoyed "hands on work" and gained experience working with an expert team of fitting and alteration seamstresses at an exclusive dress shop the summer I finished at Liverpool.
Sewing workshop is offered by Beth Morris Workshops for adults. Each workshop is 1.5 hours and costs £15 per session. Fees are paid per term. Materials are included. All abilities welcome especially complete beginners (and improvers will always improve!
This is a five hour one to one lesson during which you will realise your own unique, personalised leather clutch bag and get to take it home with you. This is a one to one course during which you will be taught the basic skills of working with leather and learn how to use specific tools.
These workshops are perfect for children aged 8 yrs and above. These classes are for children who would love to learn how to sew. You will learn along side your child to make a beautiful hand sewn project to take home.
Come along with a simple item or garment you are currently making, adjusting or starting and that need help with. This is a continuous running class which you can book week to week where you can choose what you want to make and Pat will assist you making. Not suitable for beginners dressmaking.
Sewing classes are offered by Sew Creative for teenagers. Our weekly after school teen classes are aimed at those aged 11-17 who want to take their sewing skills to the next level.
