Seams Good Studio reflects a lifetime career beginning with teaching, then making art, then teaching art, all with professional cleaning, caregiving and accounting mixed in along the way.
I found that the energy and focus required to separate the different parts of my work was compromising creative time. The more I learn, the more I see how everything interconnects — a quilt with many patches.
This class is perfect for complete beginners & people who have sewn in the past but need a refresher without committing to a 6 week class. You will learn how to competently use a sewing machine and complete a tote bag.
All students are welcome whether this is your first time to pick up a needle or if you have been stitching for years.
This is an open sewing class allowing you freedom to work on a project of your choice (approved by instructor according your sewing skills). You will be guided thru the entire process of your project at your own pace by learning to read & understand patterns
This class is for beginning to intermediate students, ages 8 - 13. We will teach students how to use their machine and make a project each month. Please check with us for details on each month's project.
Prefer to work alone? Join our experienced teacher who will help you learn your machine features and accessories. Maybe you have a special sewing project that you need help with. Minimum of 2 hours per session
