During this sewing class students will be introduce to the art of re-fashioning a piece of clothes by learning techniques to give old and forgotten clothing a new lease of life and make it into a "new and more interesting" piece of clothes that they will be able to wear, gift or sell.

We work with pre-loved clothes and discarded textiles. All materials are included for this class. Students are welcome to bring their own pre-loved clothes, either their own size or adult size.
I am Robertha Hernandez, originally from Chile - where I received a degree in Fashion Design and Pattern Making and where I worked for over ten years in my family’s clothing business.
Jai Level’ - as both managing director and designer. Since immigrating to the United States, fourteen years ago, my work has involved the creation of businesses that provide services to families with children primarily through education.
