Do you need some help with your sewing project? Maybe you would like to challenge yourself and start a new one? Do you have a half done project that deserves to be finished? Or just join us for a creative workshop, meet some new people over a cup of tea and share some sewing stories.
Bring your own project and materials to our Sewing Social Workshop where an experienced teacher will be present to assist you and give you tips on your current sewing project. Work on whatever you like while using our workshop sewing machines, overlockers and facilities. Pattern making, clothing alterations and repairs, dressmaking and sewing practice are just some of the projects you could do.
Please note, you need to have recent sewing experience to attend this workshop. You should be of at least beginner level, and able to set up and operate a sewing machine independently. If you would like to learn how to sew to attend this workshop or you need a refresher you can attend our Introduction to Sewing Course.

Sew Make Create is a creative workshop for small, intimate classes to teach new skills. Come discover a new hobby and learn from our Teachers who are passionate about their craft.
Classes teach a range of skills that are related to design, art and craft. We are also an open workshop space and drop-in sewing studio for Designers, Artists, Makers and Creatives.
Quilting course is offered by Crafty Frog. Along with a huge range of products, we run many classes. These classes are run by teachers who are not only gifted in their field, they are passionate about their crafts and ensuring they give 100% to all their students.
Cross stitch is a great first step into learning embroidery, as it involves only a couple of simple hand stitches and their variations. It can be used to decorate garments, linen, and to create pictures.
This class will take you to the next level, from confidently threading your machine, sewing accurately and having a very basic understanding of sewing to being able to attempt more complex skills and techniques.
Sewing classes are offered by Zig Zag Sewing for all ages and skill level. At Zig Zag Sewing, we love sewing classes, sewing groups and all of those wonderful social sewing events that keeps us smiling and in stitches.
In Sharon’s beginner course, you will learn many techniques including rotary cutting, accurate piecing, perfect pressing, attaching borders with precision and attaching continuous binding. Sharon shares many tips and tricks to enhance your quilt making skills.
