The aim of this course is to provide candidates with practical and theoretical knowledge in order for them to undertake the role of a slinger/signaller.
Following successful completion of the course candidates will be able to select the correct lifting accessories, attach them to loads safely and guide the load using the appropriate hand signals.

This qualification is a nationally recognised Construction Plant Operations qualification, which is intended for experienced Slinger Signallers, who hold a red CPCS / NPORS card and are now looking to upgrade to the Blue Competent operator card.

Our ALLMI accredited instructors can supply the rigorous and all-inclusive training necessary to achieve these benefits. We can provide an ALLMI Slinger / Signaller two day novice course, or a one day experienced course.
Upon successful completion of GWO’s slinger signaller training course, the participant will be able to work within the wind industry conducting slinging techniques and signalling during simple lifting operations, meaning lifts conducted based on a lifting plan or covering known hazards.
