This Slinger Signaller training course equips the candidate with the theoretical and practical knowledge to safely and efficiently guide a crane and the safe use of a variety of slings under different operating conditions.
The candidate will practise pre-use inspections, communication techniques and safe slinging methods as well as learning theoretically the fundamentals of de-rating, sling selection, safe attaching considerations and working as part of a lifting team, all carried out at our construction training facility in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
A pre-requisite for this course is the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test for operatives which can be completed at a local Pearson Vue Centre or can be arranged by XRE.
XRE Construction Training is a partnership-controlled training provider with a combined experience base of nearly 60 years for all types of earthmoving plant, earthworks operations and plant operator training. We can provide plant operator training and testing on all categories of plant equipment and are able to train and accredit plant operators to Industry Standards either as a novice or an experienced plant operator.
We are conveniently based less than 4 miles off Junction 2 of the M180 in Doncaster. The facility is fabricated to suit the needs of every individual candidate and we take great pride in the services we provide. We are a fully accredited CPCS and NPORS test centre and offer a very wide range of courses.
