This course is a continuation from Spanish Beginners 2 and is for any student wishing to learn the language for business, travel or everyday use with approximately 40 hours of Spanish required. Students will develop skills to use in conversation, reading, listening and writing.
This course aims to build general basic comprehension and communication skills in beginners Spanish and an introduction to cultural practices, with a focus on clear explanation of basic language principles.

Spanish is spoken by more than 570 million people. It is a Romance language and shares its Latin origins with several other European languages, including French, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian. It is the official language in more than 20 countries and is spoken by a growing number of people.
The VSL offers a wide range of face-to-face classes in VSL Centres throughout the metropolitan and regional areas. Courses in many languages are available from Prep to VCE. In standards and content, courses are comparable to those offered in day school language classes and follow a standard course.
Our teachers are native speakers, brilliant Educators and are amazing at connecting with, and inspiring their students. Our pre-schooler programs are very ‘hands on’ and include many sensory elements to get the children engaged and speaking Spanish naturally.
NSW School of Languages offers our Year 9 and 10 Spanish students an engaging learning experience with effective and innovative learning activities. Students will require access to a computer and the internet during their allocated Spanish periods as much of their work is to be completed online.
