This one-day course is approved by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) as meeting the mandatory training requirement for senior officers and key personnel on ships carrying passengers, as specified in the IMO Standards for Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW ) Code Sections A-V/2 & 3 paragraphs 1, 3 and 5.
