Description
This two day training workshop covers a series of modules; navigating the CoPTTM, reading a TMP ande checking that it is fit for purpose, identifying, assessing and managing a risk, understanding layout distances, tables, and calculating resources, and completing a TTM crew briefing.
Important Information
Unit Standard: 31961 - Explain the requirements for the worksite under temporary traffic management. Level 3, 5 Credits.Assessment Method: 11 theory questions completed progressively throughout the workshop. Pass Criteria: 100%.

TTM Worker is the new entry level training for people joining the TTM industry. Temporary traffic management (TTM) Worker Workshop is for workers who assist with TTM under direction, such as by the Site Traffic Manager (STMS).
This two-day STMS Level 1 course is for anyone with a basic Traffic Control (TC) qualification who is looking to take the lead role for traffic management on their work site.
Traffic control courses form part of the overall traffic management courses Nz syllabus in NZ. Once you have achieved this course you can progress on to others such as STMS training.
The qualification is gained by attending a full day (8.30 to 5.00) classroom course and then at a later date complete an onsite practical setup assessment which involves off lane work only. (footpath and shoulder closures)
