Overview
This programme is designed to provide all learners with the opportunity to transfer knowledge into the real world and experience that hands-on activity in the workplace. You will study the role of Management and Administration and the impact it will have in the business world.
Over the two years learners will take part in 45-60 days in an external industry placement, which will ensure that you develop and deepen your technical knowledge and skills, as well as behaviours appropriate to the professional business sector. Learners who successfully achieve the Management and Business specialism qualification (City & Guilds) will be counted in the employment ratios for the Business sector.
These Level 3 technical qualifications will provide learners with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress into skilled employment or higher level technical training or study in your chosen sector.
The core knowledge and understanding will be assessed through an examination and core skills through a practical employer-set project. In addition to this, English and Maths will be integrated within the qualification in occupationally relevant context.
The specialist qualifications give learners lots of options. They are designed to provide progression into highly skilled employment, a higher apprenticeship or university. Taught in our newly designed 21st century learning environments, this qualification is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and provides learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding to be successful and in control of their own learning.
Learners will spend 80% of their time in college and 20% (45 to 60 days) on an industry placement with an employer. You will be allocated a personal tutor who will assist and support you throughout the programme.
Entry Requirements
You will need give GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Maths.
Units/Modules
Learners will complete at least one module of occupation-specific content depending on the capacity of the local learning provider. This part of the T Level ensures students develop the knowledge and skills for specific occupations.

Sporting activities
The College runs a number of sporting activities including table tennis, zumba and football. New activities are introduced throughout the year and are publicised around the college.

Fundraising
Each year the College run a number of fundraising activities which support both local and national charities. Whilst all students are encouraged to join in activities, Fundraising forms part of Level 1 study programme.

Volunteering
The College actively encourages students to participate in volunteering opportunities. It is recognised volunteering offers students the opportunity to meet new people, have fun and develop essential employability skills.
Examples of volunteering students have participated in are marshalling at sports events, working in a charity shop, supporting at a youth club and running community events.
Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This includes small and large businesses alike; from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector.
A Business Administration apprenticeship provides a practical and hands-on learning experience for individuals interested in the field of business. This apprenticeship programme equips learners with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to excel in administrative roles.
This Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration, accredited by Highfields, is a practical skills based qualification, ideal if you are seeking employment in office based roles and settings.
