Course Details

Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese martial art that uses slow, gentle movements to cultivate strength, calm, and flexibility. Through the movements of the Tai Chi postures we activate our bodys natural energies, and then use these for martial practice as well as self-healing.

This way of exercising places great emphasis on quieting our mind, and so can also be thought of as a form of moving meditation. Classes will teach the fundamental principles of internal energy cultivation, how to apply these principles in each of the Tai Chi posture, and then how to string these postures together in a Yang style Tai Chi form.
