In our Tap Dance Classes you learn all the basic  steps  which are then put together into rhythmical sequences and dances suitable for all ages from our little tappers right through to our adults.  Music choices are both modern and traditional and the styles complimentary.
Lake Macquarie Dance Centre has qualified teachers in tap dance to help students turn dance movements into a rhythmic percussion-like display.

Tap dance is characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion.
Our tap classes combine a mixture of Broadway, Blues, Funk, Rock and Ragtime tapping giving our students an innovative, funky tap lesson.
