A fun Tap class for beginners or those who have a little Tap experience. Class will start with a warm up and slowly work through tap steps to build into a fun routine!
TAP dance is a combination of rhythm and coordination. We explore classic Tap as seen in hit musicals like 42nd Street and Singin’ in the Rain right up to present day Hoofers such as Tap Dogs. Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance are the exam board for Sazonova Dance and Fitness.
Adult Tap - Beginner classes are offered by Southampton Dance Academy. Southampton Dance Academy work extremely hard to share our extensive and constantly evolving knowledge of dance with children and adults, utilising inspiring music and excellent syllabi in beautiful spaces.
Perfect for boys and girls aged 5 - 8 years, who are new to dance, and not sure what style to pursue.
Tap begins at the start in our debut dance class. From age three upwards, pupils are given an initiation in rhythm and stepping in time, so that once they have graduated to the Pre Primary class they will be able to master the steps necessary for their first examination.
