For motivated and aspiring students there are opportunities to move into our Performer’s Program to further explore their potential.
Established in February 2003, The Performance Studio was created to offer quality training in all aspects of the performing arts.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our work, and at the centre of everything we do is our desire to be creative. We encourage everyone we work with to develop and share their creativity - for whatever outcome - be it a career in the industry, self confidence, self expression, a better work / life balance or simply for FUN!
Studio Directors Yvette & Brendan Monger, both qualified professional actors, are committed to providing industry standard training to the Western Sydney Region.
The perfect place to start learning basic Tap foundation and transitioning movements while making music with your feet!
Tap is such a big part of what we do here at the Artz Collective
Tap dance combines technique, musicality and rhythm and provides students with the ability to enhance their fine motor skills. Tap dancing is a thoroughly enjoyable style and again brings the old technique and style reminiscent of Fred Astaire together with the newer modern styles of tap.
Learn all the basics and have fun to all the latest music - age appropriate. Standing and floor exercises, travelling and stationary steps and great routines in each class. In Open Age class some dance experience is recommended. These classes are separated for 13+ & Adults.
This is a graded syllabus by TAPATAK Oz. Children can sit examinations yearly once the required technical level of skill is achieved.
