Course Details

The Principles of Project Management course provides students the basic concepts and fundamental knowledge of Project Management.

From a Project Manager's perspective, students will follow projects through the project life cycle and learn how to map the project management knowledge areas to project management process groups as defined by the PMBOK® Guide.

Learning is augmented by understanding how projects are initiated, planned and executed within various organizational environments. Students will discover the pressures put on the project as the Project Manager manages the project stakeholders and resources while determining how to balance trade-offs when disruptions to the project plan occur.
