Durham College’s Professional and Part-time Learning is a provincial leader in the development and delivery of online programs and courses. Our virtual classrooms are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Online learning has been providing students with a flexibility to update their skills, discover a new talent or chart a career path at their convenience.
However, this flexibility also brings its own set of challenges, such as maintaining motivation and focus. To overcome these challenges, successful online learners adopt certain habits and strategies.
This program will provide students with the theoretical and practical foundations for the development and design of instruction and training applicable to the higher education industry, corporate training delivery, or the hosting of subject-specific workshops.
In this course you will build a professional portfolio, secure a mentor, develop your business philosophy, assess your potential for an entrepreneurial career, and you will have the opportunity to attend off campus business networking events during "Global Entrepreneurship Week".
Join us to explore how you can begin to make the move away from traditional assessments, and design authentic assessments
