By doing so, we enrich the community by introducing one-of-a-kind art and handmade products to the local marketplace as well as the e-Market to offer alternatives to the mainstream shopping experience while connecting customers with local producers.
Students ages 8 – 12 explore the fashion design process as they learn fashion illustration, pattern making, sewing, textile and jewelry design skills in just 4 OR 8 week classes. All students are welcome to participate in the KSOF Annual Fashion Show in May to showcase their hard work.
This class is for kids 10-16. Learn your way around a sewing machine as you complete a tote bag project. You'll learn how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, sew a seam and finish raw fabric edges as you construct a tote bag from a kit of upcycled materials
Adults who want to learn to sew can can find all the guidance they need with our knowledgeable staff.Â
This is an open sewing class allowing you freedom to work on a project of your choice (approved by instructor according your sewing skills). You will be guided thru the entire process of your project at your own pace by learning to read & understand patterns
This class is for beginning to intermediate students, ages 8 - 13. We will teach students how to use their machine and make a project each month. Please check with us for details on each month's project.
