This training course develops the skills of rescue personnel to complete complex tower rescue procedures from tower structures that may include electricity supply industry (ESI) towers or telecommunications radio structures.

It covers the skills and knowledge required to undertake risk management processes, adhere to safety practices, use rigging equipment and climb to perform rescue operations, training participants to combat various types of onsite emergencies.

It also covers mandatory requirements of rescue from an ESI tower and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions.

Following the training course, the emergency response team shall be capable of responding and controlling various rope rescue on-site emergencies, as such this rescue focused course is not designed for general “Tower” workers.
