It covers the skills and knowledge required to undertake risk management processes, adhere to safety practices, use rigging equipment and climb to perform rescue operations, training participants to combat various types of onsite emergencies.
It also covers mandatory requirements of rescue from an ESI tower and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions.
Following the training course, the emergency response team shall be capable of responding and controlling various rope rescue on-site emergencies, as such this rescue focused course is not designed for general “Tower” workers.

This unit applies to those working in site-based roles. The work required in this unit relates to the National Standard for High Risk Work but this unit does not provide the licence.
