This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to control traffic with stop-slow bat in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. • This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles.

Client will need to provide a roadway where signage can be set up to be used as a practical assessment. PPE to be work as per site requirements – Suggested minimum - Hi visibility vest/clothing, hard hat and safety boots, glasses.
All required training material is supplied by MBE training. The use of site equipment is recommended to give the trainees some familiarisation with the equipment available onsite.
Trainees will undertake a theory assessment, followed by a JSA, and a practical assessment.
