The Traffic Controller course is designed to prepare you with the skills and knowledge to work safely and effectively in the traffic management industry. It applies to those who would like to work in live traffic environments in a supervisory or operational role in NSW to control traffic with a stop-slow bat and portable traffic control devices.
The Traffic Controller course includes a total of four (4) units of competency. One (1) day of face-to-face training + one (1) day of practical assessment.
RIIWHS205E — Traffic Controller
RIIWHS206 — Control traffic with portable traffic control devices and temporary traffic signs
RIIWHS201E — Work safely and follow WHS policies and procedures
RIICOM201E — Communicate in the workplace

Traffic Control training course is delivered and certificates are issued by Edway Training (RTO No 91401). Edway Training is approved by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver this training course.
On successful completion of this course trainees in the resources and infrastructure industries will be able to demonstrate the correct method for installation
