It offers a great opportunity to get all your questions about teaching and teacher training answered.
We provide support to evaluate effectiveness and impact, and to plan and implement change, develop policy or devise a completely new strategy.
With more than 25 years experience in the field, we aim to inform, develop and improve the quality of early childhood provision and generate knowledge which has applications for policy and practice.

Located in the St Thomas Children’s Centre near Birmingham city centre, CREC specialises in early childhood research which has relevant and meaningful outcomes for practice and policy.
Some of its research is transformed into training and development programmes designed for the specific needs of the early years sector.
