Our teaching staff have extensive experience of working within the travel industry and have numerous connections to individuals still working within the trade. We also organise many trips and visits as well as inviting speakers from key industry organisations.

How The Course is Assessed
The course is assessed with:
50 % external examinations, an exam in May in the first year and one in the second year.
50% controlled assessment. A series of timed tasks undertaken in the classroom during the two years of the course
Other Information
There are trips available as part of the course including occasional short European visits and longer stays in long haul destinations. We also offer the opportunity to attend a cabin crew day course run by a major international airline. There are some compulsory trips on which we base some research and students may need to make a payment of approximately £50 at the start of the course.
