The Excavation, Trenching, and Soil Mechanics course covers the OSHA Excavation Standard and safety and health aspects of excavation and trenching.
This course covers OSHA Standards related to excavation and trenching. Topics include practical soil mechanics and its relationship to the stability of shored and un-shored slopes. Introduction to various types of shoring, soil Classification, and protective systems will be emphasized.
The Competent Person for Excavation Safety course is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the OSHA Regulation 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P Excavation Standards, as well as an introduction to current protective system design, selection, and installation.
Excavations training is offered by ABC Florida Gulf Coast. ABC Florida Gulf Coast Chapter strongly believes in creating a true company-wide safety culture. We help our members do this by providing industry applicable safety training.
This class provides the knowledge to meet this requirement. Your employees will receive an acknowledgement of completion & wallet card upon completion of the training.
