Jamieson School of Music offers lessons in guitar, piano and ukulele in the heart of Gosforth at our high street music school. We will always go at your pace, and personalise the lessons to your needs, in a relaxed, friendly, learning environment. You'll be amazed at how well you can play after only a few lessons!
All ages are welcome. We teach children (from age 6), working professionals, the retired, and everyone in between. It's never too late to learn!
We also run a weekly guitar class and a ukulele class every Friday in Newcastle city centre at the library!
Jamieson School of Music currently has two young female musicians as tutors, Ellie & Christina.
Ready to pick up and instrument and drift off to a tropical dreamworld? Learn the proper method of holding a ukulele, major chords, chord progressions, and how to create a constant tone.
Our ukulele lessons help our beginner students develop a basic understanding of chords, rhythms and finger-picking styles. More advanced players are able to explore advanced chord shapes, inversions and extensions, legato techniques and improvisation.
Ukulele classes are offered by School Of Rox. At School Of Rox, you’ll find a creative and comfortable learning atmosphere located.
Our ukulele teachers specialise in making learning fun and engaging for beginners, but also have a great track record for getting their students into Universities to study music performance.
River Recording Studios offer ukulele lessons for beginners, ukulele lessons for children, intermediate ukulele lessons and compensate for advanced ukulele players.
