Arepas are cornmeal cakes that originated hundreds of years ago in a region that now makes up Colombia, Venezuela, and Panama. Traditionally, they were cooked on a pan called a budare. But they can also be grilled, baked, or fried. Arepas can be stuffed with various ingredients, some traditional options are: brisket, cheese, and chicken salad.

Founded in the spring of 2020 by Silvia Carluccio, formerly at Live Nation Entertainment, we set out to pair our love of food with our love of music–a consistent theme in all of our cooking class experiences. Since then, we've hosted over 300 online cooking classes with chefs from Milan, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Costa Rica, Sicily, Toscany, Spain, and India. We've proudly supported over thirty small businesses including restaurants, private chefs and nonprofits in this time, and that number continues to grow.
