Welcome to the Christchurch School of Music! The CSM is one of New Zealand’s greatest musical treasures, where tens of thousands of Christchurch children and adults have learned to love and appreciate music. CSM is a place where the whole family can learn music in the same place at the same time!
We also offer a wide range of orchestras, ensembles and performing groups for all ages and abilities.
Students must have completed 2 years of basic instrument or 10 yrs old before enrolling in cello lessons.
These classes provide an affordable option for learning an instrument in a group setting. Classes will run depending on interest and require a minimum of 3 students so bring a friend and join the fun!
Epsom Music School was established in 1996 by a group of Auckland Philharmonia musicians under the leadership of Tatiana Lanchtchikova
Soundworks Music School has been around Palmerston North since 2007, initially led by Liz Locke, but now owned and managed since February 2021 by Rhys Davies Smith, teacher of guitar and drums.
